ABOUT
THE PRODUCT
In any process or power industry, where steam or fluid is used,
it is advisable to monitor steam or fluid parameters like conductivity,
pH, Silica, Sodium, dissolved. Oxygen and Hydrazine, to ensure that
the right quality of steam or fluid enters the downstream equipment
which is normally very expensive.
Taking out samples from high temperature zones at various desired
temperature level for measuring the above properties of steam or
fluid, Valqua Products is supplying Sample Coolers with the standards
established by BIS, ASME etc. Sample Coolers bring down the temperature
of steam or hotwater or fluid to a level that is compatible with
the sensor being used. |

WORKING
PRINCIPLE
Sample Cooler is a heat exchanger that condenses/sub cools the steam
or cools incoming hot water or fluid by passing it through a helical
coil housed in a cylindrical shell. In order to bring down the temperature,
heat has to be extracted from the steam or fluid.
The
Sample Cooler does this by circulating cool water over the coil
(in the shell), which takes up the heat given off by the steam or
fluid. The amount of heat to be extracted from the steam or fluid
depends on the condition of the incoming steam. Normally the amount
of heat to be extracted is ranging from 8000 kcal/h to 48000 kcal/h.
In the process of heat exchange the cooling water gets heated by
10 15 Degree C. |
